The In the Mix series, formerly known as Chamber Connect and Breakfast & Business Cards, is an excellent way to get more involved with your fellow Chamber & EDC members and business leaders in the Pikes Peak region. The series will feature networking and breakouts, where attendees will brainstorm, troubleshoot, and discuss issues within their business. Mr. DePeppe, a former White House advisor on cybersecurity policy and Chair of national cyber projects, is a distinguished cyber-risk attorney and consultant. With diverse expertise spanning cyber, digital identity, and sports data verticals, he helps businesses implement robust security practices. Mr. DePeppe's portfolio includes data breach response, privacy compliance, and national security assistance. Recognized for his contributions, he was inducted into the Information Sharing Hall of Fame and served on White House cybersecurity initiatives. As Chair of the Cyber Working Group, he contributes to regional resilience-building efforts. Additionally, he founded the Cyber Resilience Institute, advancing community cyber capacity globally. With a background in military and legal counsel roles, he brings a unique perspective to the cybersecurity landscape. Mr. DePeppe remains a trusted advisor to cyber insurance carriers, brokers, and international organizations, ensuring preparedness and response to evolving threats.

Terri Carver served 8 years as a State Representative in the Colorado General Assembly from 2014-2022. She served on the House Judiciary Committee, the Business and Labor Committee, and Transportation and Energy Committee.
State Representative Carver was a prime sponsor of the Colorado Data Privacy Act which includes business cybersecurity requirements to protect individual’s personal information. She cosponsored the Colorado Cybersecurity Initiative to mandate cybersecurity protocols in state government functions and to establish the National Cybersecurity Center in partnership with the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs.
Prior to being elected, Terri Carver served as an Air Force JAG (military attorney), and retired at the rank of Colonel. She has taught environmental law, energy law, and space law at several universities. Terri Carver has a Master of Laws degree in Environmental Law as well as Juris Doctorate degree.
Terri Carver is currently the Chair of the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee. She is also on the Southern Colorado Human Trafficking Task Force Board of Directors. Terri Carver is a member of the Military Affairs Council with the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce.
