Nana's Dim Sum & Dumplings Brings Chinese Tradition with Grand Opening in Colorado Springs, CO
Authentic Dim Sum Experience Expands Across Colorado; Grand Opening Proceeds to
Benefit Special Olympics Colorado Springs Chapter
Colorado Springs, CO – July 23, 2025 – Colorado foodies, take note! A taste of tradition with a modern twist is arriving this summer as Nana’s Dim Sum & Dumplings announces the grand opening of its newest location in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The new location will officially open its doors on July 29, 2025. This expansion marks a significant milestone in Nana's mission to bring authentic dim sum and dumpling cuisine to the Colorado Front Range.
A Culinary Tradition Comes to Colorado
Known for elevating dim sum into a full-sensory dining experience, Nana’s brings handcrafted dumplings, bao, and Chinese specialties—like truffle soup buns, jumbo crab rangoons, and Peking duck—to hungry locals eager for something bold, fresh, and made with heart.
Local Flavor, Global Inspiration
Nana’s is more than a restaurant—it’s a cultural celebration. Co-Owner Jack Lu shares: “Opening in Colorado Springs is a dream come true. This is a vibrant community, and we’re excited to offer authentic Chinese flavors in a modern, family-friendly setting. Partnering with the Special Olympics in Colorado Springs for our grand opening lets us give back as we grow—it’s food with a purpose.”
Supporting Special Olympics: Colorado Springs Chapter
Demonstrating a commitment to community engagement, Nana's Dim Sum & Dumplings will donate 100% of the proceeds from the grand opening to the Colorado Springs Chapter of Special Olympics Colorado. Special Olympics was founded in 1969 on the belief that people with intellectual disabilities can, with proper instruction and encouragement, learn, enjoy and benefit from participation in individual and team sports.
“Special Olympics Colorado is honored to be the beneficiary of Nana’s Dim Sum & Dumplings Grand Opening Celebration”, says Jan Gordon, Chief Development Officer for Special Olympics Colorado. “Their generosity directly supports our athletes with intellectual disabilities across Colorado and it’s inspiring to see a local business open its doors with such heart!”
Why It Matters
With the surge of interest in authentic Asian cuisine and the growing diversity of the Front Range, Nana’s expansion reflects Colorado’s evolving culinary scene—and the brand’s commitment to flavor, family, and community connection.
The grand opening events will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony and live cultural performances. Community members are invited to join the celebration and support a worthy cause.
Special Performance: Traditional Lion Dance at 7:00 PM
