CEO Roundtable - Economic Outlook Series: National Trends, Local Trajectories

This is an event open to our Business Premier and Board of Governors members where we will be discussing the state of our economy. Monica Guerra, Executive Director and Head of US Policy at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, will be joining us from New York to share her expertise. 

In her role, Monica provides strategic public policy and market guidance for financial advisors and clients. Prior to this role, she was a member of the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Municipal Research team. Before coming to Morgan Stanley, Monica worked as a municipal bond analyst in Fitch Ratings’ US Public Finance group. She also dedicated nearly a decade of her career to public service, holding positions such as a director of Capital Budget and Economic Development for the City of New York, legislative aide in the US House of Representatives, and as a political campaign operative. Monica’s views have been cited by Bloomberg News, Barron’s, The Bond Buyer, and Politico, among other publications. Monica holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in public finance from New York University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (BFA) from Northern Illinois University. She is a Council on Foreign Relations corporate leader and a 2023 fellow of the Economics Club of New York.

The premise of this event will be to have Monica speak to global and national economic trends, while our local business leader speak to how it is affecting their business locally. We will be represented by 4 panelists from our major industries.
