During this Chamber Connect, you will learn how to proactively address HR issues to ensure you are limiting your exposure to lawsuits. Topics related to COVID-19 HR issues that will be covered during the presentation include:
  • Understanding the difference between CDC recommendations versus the legal requirements
  • How to maximize compliance to avoid employee disputes
  • The appropriate way to track employee hours and wages
  • How to comply with ADA and FMLA laws

Speaker: Gary M. Kramer, Employment Lawyer
Gary represents clients in state and federal courts and in administrative proceedings, including those before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Colorado Civil Rights Division, Colorado Department of Labor & Employment, and the U.S. Department of Labor (including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Wage & Hour Division). I handle cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, wrongful termination, wage & hour, noncompetition and nonsolicitation agreements, severance and separation agreements, and breach of contract.
Gary also advises and represents employee clients in all aspects of state and federal employment law claims involving their current or former employers. He represents employers in claims involving their employees, and helps them manage HR and legal risk through effective compliance in matters of compensation, workplace policies and employee handbooks, hiring, termination, performance management, and employment agreements.
