Join us for a special Groundbreaking Ceremony as Bear Creek Christian Church officially begins construction on their new worship center and community space along Colorado’s Front Range on Wednesday, August 12th from 3:30 - 5:30 pm!


ABOUT BEAR CREEK CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Formerly First Christian Church, this resilient congregation sold their original property in December 2024 and temporarily nested at First United Methodist Church before purchasing their breathtaking new site in February 2025. Guided by Senior Pastor Rev. Monica Banks, Church Moderator Donna McCoy, and Chair of Trustees Greg Hock, Bear Creek Christian Church is an open and affirming faith community dedicated to radical hospitality, music, and the creative arts. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to be an expression of God’s love for everyone and welcoming all to God’s Table.

Beyond building a new sanctuary, Bear Creek continues to invest heavily in our local community, currently organizing a School Supply and Gift Card Drive for District 11 students and raising funds for an inclusive children’s playground on their new site that will serve the entire neighborhood.
